Black Voices

For far too long, Black voices have been excluded or relegated to the margins of the film community. The Portland Film Festival and the Film Critic team are proud to celebrate the vast and varied perspectives of Black filmmakers. These BLACK VOICES selections are emblematic of the contributions that a new generation of Black filmmakers are making to independent film culture.
