Voices of Ability

The filmmaking industry has long privileged certain voices and perspectives. As an emphasis on diversity and inclusion in recent years has increased gendered and racialized representation in filmmaking, the centering of the stories and the voices of those with disabilities is often still overlooked. That’s why this year, the Portland Film Festival is proud to present VOICES OF ABILITY, a selection of films made by filmmakers with disabilities. Special thanks to Keely Cat-Wells for her assistance with this section.
